Important:
Running the SAFRAN will
require the .NET Framework (version 2.0 or higher) to be installed
on the computer.
Download and install .NET framework
The SAFRAN can produce a basis for safety
assessment reports and waste stream diagrams in Microsoft
Office© Word and PowerPoint, respectively. Microsoft
Office© (version 2003 or 2007) have to be installed on the computer to allow the
tool to create these files. Microsoft Office© installation is optional and required only for creating
of these two outputs.SAFRAN-2009 documentation engine is under testing for compatibility with Microsoft Office 2010 Beta.
Version 2 of SAFRAN Calculation Tool (SAFCALC2) requires Java SE Development Kit 6 (JDK6) to be installed on computer.
The installation of JDK6 is optional and required only if you are going to perform calculations with SAFCALC2.
